Does the Omex rev limiter OMPLCLC with launch control bounce off the rev limiter or does it just sit at max? And does the launch control feature technically make this a 2 step?

“Bouncing” is a term that cannot be quantified so all I can give is a technical answer! If the engine speed exceeds the OMEX rev limit setting then sparks are cut until the engine speed drops below the rev limit setting. The hysteresis is very small giving a relatively “smooth” limit. Most videos on YouTube are just of people using them to make pops from the exhaust but this one shows it being used for a launch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTVhjQyP10s. It’s not our video, just one I have just found. “2 step” I think is a term used in the USA so again I’ll just give a technical description. The “launch control” is a lower rev limit that you can set which is activated by pressing the button. So there are two rev limits, the higher engine safety limit and the button operated lower launch limit.
