Optronic Instructions
Lumenition Optronic ignition system converts contact breaker ignition to electronic ignition. Ideal for all performance cars, particularily race and rally applications. Features include contactless operation. Fixed dwell giving higher performance from existing coil already fitted to your vehicle. High power output transistor gives fast and accurate switching of the coil. Recommended for all engine sizes up to 8 cylinder engines running at a maximum of 9,000 RPM.
You will also require a fitting kit to secure the optical switch in to the top of your distributor, these are sold separately. We also recommend fitting the matching Lumenition coil which can be seen below.
