Sparco Shield RW-9 fireproof balaclava. The new Shield RW-9 range of fireproof underwear has been designed to adhere as much as possible, to the driver's body shape without creating friction between the underwear material and the driver's skin. Shield RW-9 is as seamless as possible and features two differing fabrics which have been matched together to ensure maximum breathability.
All sewn labels have been removed and replaced with printed labels using a new technology known as 'pad printing', guaranteeing complete comfort. The weight of the RW-9 material is only 180grm/m² making it one of the lightest fireproof underwear materials in the world. The outer layer of the material is treated with Sparco's unique X-Cool silver treatment, giving the sensation of freshness whilst also being antibacterial.
The Sparco range of Shield RW-9 Balaclavas are FIA Homologated to FIA 8856-2000 standard.
