Aluminium Flush Mounting Oil Catch Tank 3/4 Litre
Universal, baffled, Aluminium oil catch tank with a 3/4 litre capacity. A flat rear section to this tank enables it to be flush mounted to a bulkhead or upright panel making it small but neat and compact. Ideal for road and track cars that do not require a catch tank of a certain size to meet technical regulations.
Made in the U.K, this oil catch tank features 1/2" (13mm) inlet tails to allow hoses to be pushed on and secured with a clip. These hand crafted, baffled catch tanks also feature a breathable cap, drain plug and sight tube. Dimensions for this catch tank are: 200mm tall (plus 32mm for cap and 20mm for drain), 100mm wide (plus 20mm flange each side for mounting) by 50mm deep (plus 28mm for inlet tails).
Oil Catch Tanks are designed to collect oil and vapour from an engine's breather hoses which are normally fed back into the engines intake system. We often find on a performance or race car this is not ideal, as tuned engines can produce more vapour which in turn, can restrict performance.
