Lifeline Zero 175 1.3kg Electrical Fire Extinguisher (FIA Homologation # FS.001.23). This system meets the very latest FIA standard 8876-2022, fire suppression system for open cockpit vehicles.
Lifeline's Zero 175 system is able to efficiently use suppressant material which in turn keeps weight to an absolute minimum. The very latest nozzle design results in rapid discharge, meaning that one nozzle is situated in the cockpit, one in the engine bay and two in the sidepods. This system is designed to prevent the spread of fire forwards through the car. This threat is what the FIA specifically designed 8876-2022 standard to address.
Knowing that these cars are some of the lightest and fastest in the sport, the Zero 175 installation kit has been kept high quality and to a minimum. This allows for a simple, lightweight and professional installation. With an intelligent control box, status of the system is available to the driver at the push of a button.
