Thermo-Tec Silencer & Catalytic Heat Shield Material
Thermo-Tec adhesive back heat shield material has been designed to protect parts and components from radiant heat. It can be used to protect painted surfaces, plastic parts or any other component from the effects of radiated heat. The adhesive backed heat material is made up of woven silica with a flexible, aluminised finish.
The highly reflective surface of the material is capable of withstanding radiant temperatures of up to 1090°C. The adhesive side of the material can cope with direct and continuous temperatures up to 150°C. The composite construction of this material means it can be easily applied to any surface, or even wrapped around a hose or wires.
